How to Recover Data from Dead/Broken iPad

iPad goes broken badly or becomes dead is really frustrating for us. If our iPad can't be repaired, saving data from it becomes urgent. Step 1. Connect your dead/broken iPad to computer

Download and install iPad Data Recovery on your computer, then run the program and connect your dead/broken iPad to computer. When it's detected, you'll get the interface as follows. There are three recovery modes: "Recover from iOS Device", "Recover from iTunes Backup File" and "Recover from iCloud Backup File". Try the first one next.

Step 2. Scan your dead/broken iPad

  • 1. Hold your iPad, and click the "Start" button.
  • 2. Hold "Power" and "Home" buttons at the same time when you click Start for exactly 10 seconds. The program will count the time for you.
  • 3. Release the "Power" button when the 10 seconds passed, but keep holding the "Home" button for anther 15 seconds.

When you're told that you've successfully entered the DFU mode, you can release Home and begin scanning your iPad as follows.

Step 3. Preview and recover iPad data on your computer
